You’ve probably seen this one already, but it’s worth repeating here on the website. Sammy Ayres’ Hullbridge Sports FA Youth Cup side went to Welwyn Garden City on Thursday, 4th September, for the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round and won 6-1, with goals coming from Marshall May, Declan Dear, James Barnard, and a hat-trick from Alex Crouch. An excellent result for the young lads managed by Sammy and coached by Hayden Thwaites.

They will now meet Billericay Town away in the First Round, with the tie taking place the week commencing Monday, 15th September. Billericay beat Cockfosters FC 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw at Billericay. I’ll confirm the actual date of the match ASAP or check with Sammy for details.
